These are the quilts I made for Baby Alaska. They were both hand quilted. One thing Maple and Alaska will not hurt for is quilts. Both Grandmas love to quilt and so does their Mommy! Quilting is one of my favorite things to do and when I get over this darn jet lag, I will be quilting again! I am working on a zigzag quilt right now for my daughter, Erin! Then I have the two quilting kits I bought in Boone. I am waiting for my Kaffe Fassett book to arrive that I ordered when from Amazon while I was in Boone!
I am a very blessed person. I am the mother of two wonderful daughters who each have a fantastic guy and I now have three beautiful grandchildren! I have a territorial cat who loves me but hisses at everyone else! I love to quilt, in fact some say I am addicted to this habit! I don't see that as a problem. I also love to embroider and always have a project nearby. I also love to read. I am learning how to live more "green" and eating more organic foods. I am looking forward to my retirement (3-1/2 more years now) when I can spend lots more time loving and hugging my grandkids!
